Custome Image Header Not Working on Internet Explorer
-
I just uploaded a new custom header image to the theme “Tarski” for some reason it will not show up when the page is loaded on Chrome or Internet Explorer? Has this happened to anyone else? It is a jpg

We need a link to your blog to help. And consider linking it to your user name as explained in the sticky, 8 Things, at the top of the forums.

I’ve experienced this with several different themes. I have the disappearing / re-appearing header-image issue. Sometimes it’s there, sometimes not.

I just experienced something interesting which may help any staff lurkers out there (I did post a support contact, but was mildly disillusioned becasue the tech implied I have a stale cache issue, which is, most emphatically, not the case):
This morning, when I viewed my page, everything looked fine (my cool new custon header image was looking luvli). I then immediately posted a new blog entry with video embed. As soon as I published that blog post:
1. my custom header image went away (oh, darn, not again!)
2. the blog post, with the video embed, looks perfect (oh, goody-goodie!).A thought: Do our trusty servers back there in the WordPress closet have to reallocate storage every time an update, any kind of update, is made to one’s blog. And, perhaps, a custom header image is the lowest priority to regain its own place in the newly allocated space…(?)
