customer email confirmation and payment gateway

    Hello,

    I am talking currently to WP Engine and Stripe who have told me to contact WordPress. I have a wordpress website, using WP Engine hosting, using elementor plugin page builder, using WP Travel booking system, using Stripe payment gateway. Currently the issue is that a customer puts in all their information and credit card details, they press ‘book and pay’ then the little thinking whell spins around and nothing happens. They get frustrated and click the pay now button again. They get charged each time they press it – so double charged. They get no email confirmation of booking or purchase, nothing pops up on the booking page screen and we on the other end get no email notification. PLEASE HELP!

    WPEngine support probably meant for you to ask for help in the forums for the free WordPress software, at https://wordpress.org/support/forums/

    This sounds to me, though, like a possible issue with your payment gateway for Stripe. Did you download that from WooCommerce.com? If so, you can reach their support here?

    I know they also offer WooPayments, so you might try connecting that to see whether the issue goes away.
