customer focussed website

Hi,
I want to design my website so that users come access pages through their user groups i.e. senior citizens, children, corporate, staff. can i do this with wordpress? The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)
-
-
when a user comes to my site, i want them to access the pages by clicking on a tab at the top which says either senior citizens, children, corporate or staff. Then they will go onto to the usual things like about us, class times, a fee for service store to pay for classes, news
make sense? -
similar to the way users access this site depending on whether they are a current student, alumni, postgrad etc
-
or like the wordpress site, where the first thing i see is to choose a plan, then i get directed to information. i want my users to see the different options of seniors, children, corporate, staff and then they access other pages
-
i guess i could achieve this by having a homepage with the group’s names in a box each as the entry to their version of the site….

Hi Natasha,
Have you considered grouping your posts by category? You can create categories for each group and assign each post to its respective category. You can find more regarding categories here:
http://en.support.wordpress.com/posts/categories/You can then use the Category Widget to display the category “groups.” You can read more a about the widget here:
http://en.support.wordpress.com/widgets/categories-widget/Also, with your theme, you can use Post Formats > Link to display links to each group in the content area of your front page. You can find more about Post Formats here:
