You’re welcome. The forums, as you may have noticed, are primarily staffed by not-staff volunteers. You can give staff feedback directly and avoid inadvertently insulting everyone here by emailing them at support at wordpress dot com.

The forums allow other people to discover that they are not alone with their concerns.
If you consider a complaint to be an insult, your not going to be of much use to anyone.

I already gave you the direct hotline to staff. If you want to shout at random bloggers instead, by all means continue.

Nobodies shouting and they are not random and the original concern, to which there is link, was picked up by “designsimply” to pass on to staff.

I closed that previous thread with a reply letting you know that I appreciate your feedback and liked some of your suggestions and that I noted your feedback. I have also replied to several other replies you have posted in our forums about the same topics.
I’m sorry I don’t have any more specific notes for you. I feel like the best thing I can do is collect and look for trends in this kind of feedback. You posted a long list of a wide array of issues, and I felt that discussing each one with you individually might only make you more mad because I don’t have answers for everything you posted about right now. All I can do right now is try to help you to know that I am sorry you don’t like the updates and I am looking at the feedback coming in, including yours!

I’m not sure the issues needed other comments. I can read and understand and note your feedback without making it a long thread. Also, it’s harder for me to track really long lists of feedback like there was in what you posted. But I am trying. :)

There’s no rub as far as I can tell. Based on over 8 years of observation Staff will report your concerns to the Support Team. Also IMO none of us ought to expect that WordPress.com Support Staff provide us with soapbox threads. We don’t need a stage and spotlights. We aren’t in a position to agitate using technical support forums as a misbegotten power base. These are support forums they aren’t for discussion or anything else of that nature. We can all email Staff directly and state our concerns to them when we do.

The ideas forum as an alternative might have been suggested at the outset, not two days after the topic was unceremoniously closed without the hint of a reason provided, thereby preventing others from responding to the numerous issues brought up.
Shall we appoint a committee to investigate the instances when conversation and anything other than strictly business matters are “discussed” in the forums?

There was a power outage where I lived so I was not able to log in again until power was restored this morning.

Hi there,
Yes anyone could have posted that Ideas Forum link but from what I can tell it seems there was a lot of confusion over yet more dashboard changes when I was literally in the dark using candle power and had no hydro power. I was so backdated and confused by the multiple threads on the same issues that my head was spinning this morning.Have you found the main thread here?

Yes, thanks. I’ve been peeking in now and then on that one since about the third or fourth post. Have added a few comments of my own, very little of a critical nature. Essentially I haven’t encountered the majority of the issues dealt with there because I typically sidestep the Reader and My Sites entirely.
Freedom of speech certainly upheld at “Massive changes” thread, I grant you. :) Peace.
