I need to speak to a customer service rep at wordpress. The blog I need help with is http://www.psychedtowrite.com. When I pointed my blog to Blue Host, I set up with Weebly, then tried switching to WordPress. Now I have a weebly site on wordpress with broken links. I would like to totally redesign my site using wordpress themes, etc. how do i erase all the weebly stuff? admin doesn’t have a way of changing it. when i tried to change the theme, nothing happened. please help!

http://www.psychedtowrite.com/ is not being hosted by WordPress >COM so we cannot help you with it. it’s a WordPress.ORG install.
If you don’t have a username account at WordPress.org, click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right hand corner of the page that opens, so you can post to the correct support forums for your software.

i have a website that is hosted by another vendor, but i want to replace it by exporting my wordpress site to that domain. I know that I can point my dns servers to wordpress, but I would rather export to other vendor so that I don’t have to worry about altering my email address servers as well as having to pay for hosting on both wordpress and other vendor. My current hosting vendor has installed wordpress into my account, so no issues there.

Are you the same person as nuttyknitwit?What exactly do you need help with and which blog are your referring to?

If so you have a couple of options – map your blog as a sub-domain of your current web site ( blog.leaddogmc.com/ – cost whopping $ 13.– / year
Yes you can export all your content from your leaddogmc.wordpress.com blog and import it to a WordPress.ORG install on http://leaddogmc.com – if you do this you need to either buy the domain redirect to send traffic from here to your new site – help the search engines learn the new address – or delete the CONTENT – NOT YOUR BLOG HERE!! – and put a note here that you have moved and give a click on link – – if you do this option make sure you are careful on the Permalink structure on your WordPress.ORG install – the default values don’t match the structure here

Everything moves – well the address changes but the blog stays here – your visitors see the new address but you still work in the same Dashboard here that you do now – same terms of service

All you need to do for the above – takes a few minutes and a change on your main site (minor)

Does not include Template / Theme – you would need to find a different theme since the themes here are modified to run here – BUT you should be able to find a theme that is the same or very close – I don’t know if your theme has a version for WordPress.ORG installs
Install WordPress.ORG software on your present site leaddogmc.com/ – find the theme you can live with – figure out which Plug-ins you need and install them and then – export from here and import to your new WordPress.ORG install on leaddogmc.com
Then buy the site redirect or do something to send traffic from here to the new location

Do that on the Upgrades page. When you roll over the purchase, you should see the Refund button.
