Customers clicking pictures and menu names doesnt change

Hello, I am trying to set it up on my website, that if a customer clicks on a picture that the name of the colourway (picture they are selecting) appears in the drop down menu.
it would need to ensure that the stock levels also change with the name to the correct stock levels for that colour

If you’re using WooCommerce stock levels would change automatically.
Do you have an example of the functionality you’re looking to achieve?

I don’t have a sample i can try and find one, but if i have customers clicking on the pictures, id like the correct name to pop up on the menu drop down box
