‘customise’ area . Theme not able to access

    Hi Guys,
    I cant access my theme to customise it. Says ‘permission not allowed you need higher level’? But i’m the only person with access to it (ADMIN role)
    WP ‘Could find my account to login in’? Had to create a new email account and password.
    *Please note* I am new to WP and building my website.
    HELP! any one …my head is about to explode
