  • happyhecticmom.wordpress.com is currently using Karuna. There is not any history of a premium theme purchased on this account.

Where did you purchase the theme from?

With WordPress.com you’ll select your theme from our showcase: https://wordpress.com/themes/ We are not able to support custom uploaded themes due to our shared environment.

I wish i hadnt purchased this as it isnt what i wanted at all! Is there anyway to get a refund? I am pretty new to all this & hadnt realized that I cant change the look. I brought it via bluehost & mojo.
The look is different when i log in via wordpress as it comes up as this woman with a mountain view. The theme i paid for was of a daisy!

  • You are confusing WordPress.com with the self hosted installation of WordPress software.

With WordPress.com (here) you choose a theme from wordpress.com/themes/ You are signing in to WordPress.com and seeing your WordPress.com site with the Karuna theme.

What you bought through Bluehost and Mojo is not compatible with WordPress.com (here). I’m not able to help you with a refund, you’ll need to contact them directly.

If you want to use the theme that you purchased through Mojo you can, but to do it, you’ll need to install WordPress and get a hosting company.

That process is entirely separate from WordPress.com. This guide further explains the differences between WordPress.com (here) and self hosted WordPress sites: https://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

You can also read more about self hosted WordPress in the Getting Started Materials on the left hand side of the screen at wordpress.org/support/
