Customised CSS assistance into WordPress

    Hi there

I’m trying to import my CSS and XHTML into WordPress for a client. Currently they have a brochure-type site – http://www.diamondawareness.co.nz that they would like me to place directly into a CMS. I have chosen WordPress. However, after many hours and battling I have had no luck in getting wordpress to accept my CSS. What do I actually need to do to get this to migrate in WordPress? I have a copy of wordpress running through Xampplite which is all fine, but when it comes to trying to place the website into it, I have had no luck.
Your assistance would be greatly appreciated.
By the way, I don’t know PHP. However, I can follow it if I need to.
Also, where does the body content go when migrating into WordPress?

You did not specify a blog address or reason for posting when you created this topic.

This support forum is for WordPress.com hosted blogs only. If you have a self-hosted WordPress blog you need to seek help at the WordPress.org forums, not here.

If you don’t understand the difference, you may find this information helpful.

Yes I am aware of that but when the wordpress.org sent me an email to confirm with a password, the password looked like ***** so I cannot log in.

All sorted now. I have managed to receive a visible password.
