Customised Social Media wigets at one corner of the blog
-
Hi,
I was reading on how to customise icons for prmoting blog on other social media as well. I know this can be done by Image widget (read it not tried). But I have seen many wordpress.com bloggers to gave a one patch (a big square kind of thing) on the left top corner. For Ex- they have a heading ‘Follow me’ and customised icons of all say 6-7 social networking sites. These icond redirect reader to the social media. Now how do I get all the 6-7 icons in one patch, each pointing to different url. I can give example of wordpress.com blogs having done this if required. I llovve this feature and cant wait to have it on my blog too :)The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Have you done a search of the forum? You’d find that some themes have it built in, and some people put them in a text widget.

You can put them into a text widget in the sidebar. That is what a lot of people do. Getting them down on one corner of the site, and having it stay there even when you scroll is a different matter and would require the Custom Design upgrade and then some CSS work.
