  Hello,
  I cannot figure out how to use all the customise options. To be honest, I have found this site very difficult to use, and I am computer literate and quite competent. There are no explanations for certain terms such as widgets and generally no instructions or suggestions on how to best set up your blog.
  If I’m not able to work it out I will chose a different provider, as I ultimately do want my own domain, but will not pay for a service that I find this user unfriendly..
  If you have a step by step guide, with examples etc, I would very much appreciate it.

  Hi Stephanie,

  There’s a pretty good introduction for setting up a blog and a website on the Get Started page. If you get stuck with any of the terminology, which can be a bit tricky when you first start, try searching the support pages and you’ll turn something like this one about widgets.

  Once you’ve read through those pages if you have any specific questions then let me know what you’ve tried searching for in the support pages and if you’ve managed to make any progress. I’m sure you’ll pick it up pretty quickly once you get going.
