“customising image bar”

How do i customise the top image header of my blog? I can see the option of select image and upload etc… but the blog is not allowing me to select an image from my hard drive.

Sounds more like a browser issue to me actually. What is occuring when you try? Need specifics please.

did you try uploading the header thru a post and then just using the location for it where it says put url? Thats what i did and it worked fine

I have used this custom image header many times before—and it has always worked great. But, now when I try to upload an image, it loads a blank page with a “1” on the top left corner. Anyone know if there is something wrong with WordPress server or something?

Whenever I have uploaded an image it has been via a link i.e. it’s hosted elsewhere, and I link to the image.
Have you tried this approach?

Someone else with the benevolence theme is having problems uploading a header too. Here’s the thread http://wordpress.com/forums/topic.php?id=4033&replies=1 I think a backend look at this may be in order. Have you sent in a feedback? -

->dashboard -> top right hand corner -> feedback button or you can email support@wordpress.com
