customising my anthem theme
-
Hi,
I recently upgraded to the anthem theme and I’m trying to do the following:1) Disable the share and likes boxes from my main page so that they appear only when the viewer clicks on the post title to view the image?
2) I can’t see the titles of most of my posts and the ones that appear don’t have the same font as my blog header. How do I change the fonts and make them reappear?
3)The lines under each post isn’t the same width as the post. How can I adjust them/it?
Ps. I already tried the basic customize settings and nothing worked.

I can’t help with CSS questions but:
1.) you can disable Shares from appearing on the Posts page from the Dashboard>Settings>Sharing. Likes on the other hand, only show on single post view. http://en.support.wordpress.com/sharing/#customizing-sharing-settings
2.) your text in general is tiny. If you are using Custom Fonts you should be able to increase the Title and Body text sizes, even in the Standard Mode http://en.support.wordpress.com/custom-design/custom-fonts/#adjusting-font-size-and-style

2) Image post format does not show the title. You can set your posts to standard to get the titles to appear, but give the following CSS a try. In this theme, it should get the post titles to appear on posts set to the image post format.
article.photo h1 { display: block !important; }The post titles are getting the font you have assigned to the body text. If you wish to have the post titles use the same font as the site title, add the following CSS:
.wf-active #content.page a, .wf-active article a { font-family: ff-market-web-1,ff-market-web-2,Helvetica,Arial,sans-serif; }3) For the width of the line below the posts, add this to your custom CSS and see what you think. The images in the posts are actually slightly narrower than the content area. This adjusts the content area slightly to match the image width.
article, #content.page { max-width: 97%; } -
Thank you very much! It looks better now
My comments on my “about page” don’t show when I click on the link. It’s already been enabled in the edit page. How can I fix this?

@janesirius, hmmm, that is interesting. I’m looking into this and will report back as soon as I can.

Hi there, just popping in to note that the issue with comments not appearing on pages in the Anthem theme was fixed on 9/23/13. Not that you do need to go to Appearance > Theme Options > Post Display and check the “Show page comments” box to turn on comment display for pages in the Anthem theme.
It looks like you’ve already figured it out because I checked http://janesiriusphotography.wordpress.com/about/ just now and I can see the comments working as expected.

Hi Guys,
I have problems setting up Anthem too. How did you dot he about and portfolio tabs at the side of your blog?
-
I checked the About and Portfolio links on the left side of the home page at http://janesiriusphotography.wordpress.com/ and those links were setup using a custom menu. Here is a help page that explains how they work: http://en.support.wordpress.com/menus/
