customising specific posts

  Hi all,

  I’m drafting my own theme in Sandbox. I really like the way Fadtastic shows the newest post and only shows post titles and dates for the rest in a list below.

  I’ve tried doing this by specifying the code for each post, which is clunky and anyway the post ID’s are fixed – and I can’t work out how to tell it only to format the newest post.

  I tried doing it with a ‘recent posts’ widget, but that didn’t seem flexible enough to create the same effect as Fadtastic’s.

  Does anyone have any ideas?

  Best idea would be to use the CSS upgrade to great a theme based off Fadtastic and not Sandbox as that is a theme related template formatting not editable by any users.
