Customising the Twitter timeline shortcode in a page

Hi, I’m using the Twitter timeline shortcode to pull my twitter feed into a page. The syntax given in the help is [twitter-timeline id=1234 username=yourhandle] from the help page https://en.support.wordpress.com/widgets/twitter-timeline-widget/. My twitter feed displays on the feed but is not formatted the way I would like it to. The twitter widget (used in the sidebar) has options to hide the scrollbar, control the number of tweets displayed, change colors, etc… I’m looking for the custom CSS to modify the twitter timeline shortcode on my page to hide the scrollbar and borders, hide the footer, and make transparent so that the page twitter feed looks exactly like my sidebar widget twitter feed.

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi, can you point me at the location you are using that shortcode and I’ll have a look. If the page isn’t published yet, just let me know the name of it and I can take a look.

The page is https://aquariusph.wordpress.com/latest-news/. I’m calling it from the static home page so it is visible at https://aquariusph.wordpress.com/ as well. The graphic designer had requested this layout. I would like to modify the Twitter timeline shortcode as a proof of concept to see if I can get an attractive look.

Hi, the Twitter Timeline Shortcode only supports username, not col or showposts.

Given it is a shortcode, there are some limitations on what we can do. I’ve tried a number of things and cannot get the scrollbar to go away on the shortcode, or the borders to go away. The section of the support page I referenced above gives no indication that the styling can be changed with CSS and from my experimenting, I would say what shows is what it’s going to be.
