Customising videos

Can I customise the formatting of ‘portrait style’ videos? The default display of presenting a portrait style video within the ‘landscape style’ does not look very good.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi Terry,
You wouldn’t be able to customize videos after it has been uploaded, but what you can do is edit the video before hand using video editing software to display ‘portrait style’ and then upload that. It depends on how the video was filmed as well. As seen here, it defaults to portrait style:

If you can get it the way you want on Vimeo or Youtube, you can directly embed from there as seen here:

Cheers!

Hi Grace,
Thank you. I clicked your link and I would love to have my ‘portrait-style’ video (of an owl, not a dog :) ) in a similar format and size. How did you do that? By using Videopress? Or by embedding a video from another player?
Thank you again, Terry -
The video was filmed in this size and uploaded via VideoPress. VideoPress just uploaded the video. So please format the video beforehand and upload that.
Thanks!
