Customizable Background not changing colors in preview mode

  I’ve been having this issue for days where I have wanted to make the background of my site black, but once I change it in the customize section, it looks good while I’m building the site, but changes to white background with black text when I go into preview mode. No matter what colors I pick it does this. I used additional CSS to make the background black and it worked, but no matter what I tried the header/masthead font color was black. Please let me know if anyone has an idea of how I can make this work.

  Your site has a black background for me when I view it in my browser.

  If it still shows a white background for you, please try clearing your browser cache to see if that helps.
