  Do I have to buy wordpress premium in order to use customizable features I’ve already bought?

  You don’t have to buy WordPress.com Premium.

  The theme you bought should allow you to customize from your Dashboard > Appearance > Customize > Theme Options.

  Also, just in case you need your theme specific support, here are the support forums for premium themes.
