Customizable Header, Background, Footer?

    I’d love to see a theme that allows users to upload their own images for header, background and footer and have control over color of text as the Garland 1.0 theme does. This would be for the graphically inclined, CSS challenged folks.

    that’s rather asking for a lot for something that is already possible through css. all you have to do is learn css, and there are plenty of folks around the forums who can help with css questions. but maybe if there are more people around wp.com thinking like you, it could possibly be considered by the wp team.

    as for customised header images, it’s possible for almost every theme in wp.com.

    You would still need to know the hexcolors to change the color of your text. Or at leats how to look them up. That’s half of CSS right there.
