Customization
-
When attempting to customize my website I always get stuck in the loading screen. The loading bar in safari loads completely, but nothing ever happens the design tools won’t load.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Do you also encounter this issue in a different browser? for example Firefox or Google Chrome?
Sorry for the inconvenience.
-
Yes, but I don’t experience it with both of my accounts. I have a sign in through my work email for blogs that I do to keep all my volunteers and parents up to date. However, with this blog (which is a different account), I do. I do not however, have multiple blogs on this account to test if it would respond differently. I assume it would.

Can you please try clearing out your cache?
Otherwise send us a screenshot of the page where you’re seeing this. You can upload the screenshot to your blog’s media library.

Yes, I already cleared my cache already. Here is a screen shot: http://bmctighe.wordpress.com/?attachment_id=51

I am having exactly the same problem. I have cleared the cache and cookies. I have loged out and logged back in. This is happening on all of my computers (MacBookPro and iMacs). I have tried different themes and it’s the same problem with all of them.
I am looking forward to some help form someone – soon?
Thankyou -
Shall I take this to mean that there is no solution? I have been testing WordPress to see if I want a paid account, and if I put all this energy into a blog only to have it crash, and no longer be usable, it isn’t worth it.

I have deleted all my photographs and everything I have set up so far (not much as I was only starting to set up the blog) and everything is back to normal. I hope it will stay that way…

I tried that to no avail…So, I just renamed that blog, and started a new one with my old name. This solution works for me now because I just started the blog, but I want a REAL solution in case this happens after a lot of content has been posted to the blog. I would like to upgrade my account, but want to know that it will be stable before doing so.

Could you please make sure that you’ve selected a page from the dropdown menu at the ‘Settings’ -> ‘Reading’ -> ‘Front Page’ setting on your blog’s dashboard.

Sorry it took me a while. I just ended up making a new blog since I had just started out. I went back and made the changes and it worked. The problem was that I did not have a page selected for my front page. Thanks for the help guys!
