  How do I remove the word ‘blog’ from my homepage? It seems that the option to make my homepage static has gone away.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi there,

  The reason you’re not seeing the option to set a static home page is because you don’t yet have any published pages that can be used as the home page. Create a new page and publish it, and that option will become available in the Customizer.

  If with “the word ‘blog'” you’re referring to the “Blog at WordPress.com” text in the footer, you can modify that footer attribution from the Site Identity section in the Customizer.
