customization for an existing WP blog without downtime

    Hey there just wondering how I would go about customizing an existing wordpress site without any downtime.

    I’ve customized a WP blog before, but it was a new site, so I could play around with it live and it didn’t matter. My current client already has content added to her existing blog and I am wondering how to work with it without messing with the live site while I’m in development.

    Any help would be appreciated!!

    The only option really is to use the CSS edit preview function, or work through the changes using something like the web developer or firebug addon for Firefox. You can see the changes but anyone else coming to the site will not.
