customization of theme not publishing
-
Hello, I have been trying to change the color of the Disco theme to Foreground F8F6E8, Background B1AE82, and Secondary 755540, but the site preview does not reflect my changes. I switched to Blank Canvas to see if this would work, and none of my customizations are published in Preview although within Customizer and Site Editor they appear to have changed. I have no plugins, have tried clearing browser cache, and am not on the Premium plan so I cannot use CSS. Could we figure out why my customizations aren’t going through? Thank you.

Hi there,
I was trying it on my own trial site to see if I could help and it’s happening for me as well. Even when I want to access the customizer using this theme it shows:prueba186191261.wordpress.com refused to connect
I’ll tag staff to see if they can help.

Hi there! I had a look at your site http://jacquelinesyeun.wordpress.com/ and it does at this time appear to be using B1AE82 for the background and F8F6E8 for the text and links; I’m not seeing anywhere that 755540 is in use however.
The Disco theme is a Site Editor theme, meaning that you do need to use the Styles option to change the colors:
This is how the colors show for me at the moment as a staff visitor:

Are they looking different to you now?
I tried using Disco on a free test site and I was able to change the colors using Styles in the Site Editor. If it’s still not looking right for you, would you be abe to upload a screenshot of what you’re seeing to your Media library and drop the link here so we can check it?The page at the following link has some helpful tips for taking screenshots:

hi all,
first, thank you for the help! When I opened the site on incognito mode, the changes were set and the colors and font changed correctly. I wonder why the changes weren’t reflecting on my normal browser at first but it’s fixed now. thank you :)
