Customizations expire after a year?

The CSS cost $ 30 for a year.
After 12 months if I don’t renew the payment my customizations will be lost? Or they will keep it, but I will not be able to make new customizations anymore?
I just want to change simple things and I think that $ 30 is enough for that.

Hi, your customizations will deactivate after your Custom Design upgrade expires.
If you decide to renew in the future, they’ll reappear.

Custom CSS is $ 30.- / year – at the end of the year – if you do not renew the update, your blog goes back to looking like it did before you made the CSS changes, (the CSS changes stop working) – I thin the changes stay in the editor but are just not active, (I don’t work with CSS so not completely sure on the stay part)
But you should save copies of your CSS changes in a text editor on your PC anyway just in case something happens or you make changes that were not the best ones – you can change back to a previous version of your changes
