Add topic to favorites
I did not get the email you said you sent — got the notice, but it didn’t come. How do I put a new widget in the sidebar (Coraline) without losing my links and other sidebar stuff? Also, how can I add ‘re-post this’ to ask my blogs? Thanks.

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi @kotascatch,

To add a widget to your site you can follow the directions here:

https://en.support.wordpress.com/widgets/#adding-and-configuring-widgets

Once you’ve created your widget, drag it below your “Links” widget so that it doesn’t change the location of your other widgets.

Here is a link to add the “re-blog” to your posts:

https://en.support.wordpress.com/reblogs/#is-there-anyway-i-can-disable-the-reblog-option

It says “Disable” blog but you can also follow the directions to enable :)

Sorry I meant disable the REBLOG option, not blog.

But, when I do that, and “preview” it doesn’t show my other side bar content and I’m afraid it will be replaced and deleted? Will it?

To fix that you can make your screen full size in customizer.

To do that go to your “Customizer” and at the very bottom you will see, “Hide Controls”. Press on that and you will see your page full screen and your sidebar should show as normal.

Maybe this will show you the screenshot — I uploaded it to WordPress, but did not publish it. On the right, there is also supposed to be links, search, etc.

Timethief, I did try that. Thanks. And you’re right. This IS a time thief as well as a battery drainer! I think I’ll just skip it. Are any of these links vulnerable to hacking my administrative?
