Customize admin bar menu?

  Is there any way to change the items that appear on the menu that shows up under my blog’s name in the admin bar?

  I don’t use Menus, but I go to the Pages list a lot. I’d love to get rid of Menus and have what I actually use easily accessible rather than having to go through multiple clicks to get there.

  No, we cannot edit or customize the admin bar.

  Is there any chance of that changing? It’s awfully odd to just fill it with things and assume everyone works the same way.

  That’s done by folks at WordPress.com [only], not by users. I think, you should wait for the next admin bar update to see changes.
