Customize Bar has frozen

  When I press on ‘customize’ in my dashboard, nothing comes up! I’m trying to set one of my pages as the ‘static page’ for my blog, but I can’t seem to customize. I was able to do it previously, and then deleted that page which seems to have corrupted the ‘customize’ function. Please help.
