Customize > Colors & Background misses in BARNSBURY
-
I have installed varia and barnsbury on my own hostingplatform. But i miss Customize > Colors & Background.
I miss to find the colors_manager:
$colors_array = get_theme_mod( ‘colors_manager’ );Anybody any idea how to activate this option in the customizer?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Actually in the blog krottnl.wordpress.com, this works, but after export and re-setup on krott.championtrophyproducts.com it is gone missing.

Hi there:
The “Colors & Background” configuration screen is a feature we built for sites hosted at WordPress.com. As such you wouldn’t have that feature on a site not hosted with us.
You might be able to find a plugin in the WordPress.org plugin directory to add that functionality or you can use CSS to change those colors by adding the CSS code needed to the Additional CSS section of the Customizer.
I hope that clarifies things!

i still don’t understand where to set the primary, secondary, foreground, background etc. I changed it in functions.php of the theme, but no result.

Hello there,
To set these colours, you wouldn’t necessarily need to dive into the functions.php file – instead custom CSS might be useful.
You would need to seek a developer to help you with that CSS as we are not able to assist with self-hosted sites.
I hope this helps.
