Customize feature is missing

  we have been using the following site for years Some of the customization abilities seem to have disappeared. For instance we want to layer an image onto the background but I cannot locate the customize button any longer. I tested by creating a new blog nemesisadmin and the features seem to exist there. Help reinstating the features would be appreciated.

  You do not have a WordPress.com Premium Plan associated with your site, but you can set the site’s background here:

  Thank you. Can u check nemesislacrosse.com domaine to see if I can change the background? I cannot find the feature there. Also what is the price for a premium plan?

  All WordPress.com sites can set custom backgrounds, including nemesislacrosse.com:

  Hi, I am sorry but I am still struggling. for nemesislacrosse.com, there is no Appearance option. For nemesisadmin there is. Can it be that I an not fully signed into the nemesislacrosse account? Thanks again

  As previously stated, your user role for nemesislacrosse.wordpress.com is Editor, which includes the following abilities:

  An Editor can create, edit, publish, and delete any post or page (not just their own), as well as moderate comments and manage categories, tags, and links.

  https://en.support.wordpress.com/user-roles/#editor

  You do not have the same restrictions with nemesisadmin.wordpress.com because you own that site and are its Administrator.
