Customize homepage?

  I already read http://wordpress.com/forums/topic.php?id=1254&replies=3 but it seems it did not meet what I want.
  What I want is adding or removing some part in my homepage?
  Any idea?

  Please do another search through the forums. There are regularly threads with this exact request for theme customisation in.

  The short answer (with a caveat) is that you cannot modify the themes.

  The caveat is that you CAN modify the sidebar by changing the widgets. To do this go to the presentation tab in your dashboard and select sidebar editor.

  I’m hosted by WordPress. Does this mean that I don’t get an option to modify the sidebar. Because I have no such option available. Ideas?

  Just in case, Randy, be sure to review the widgets. That’s how you modify your sidebars.

  I cannot find any sidebar editor.
  My theme is Blix 0.9.1 by Sebastian Schmieg.

  I’ve just had a look at the theme and it would appear that widget support (sidebar editing) is not supported for the theme yet.

  We have had word that the developers are doing their best to enable all the themes for widgets so it’s either a patience game or change the theme.
