Customize search widget

I would like to customize my search widget so that I could for instance look for posts with a particular tag and a particular category, or two tags and one category, or three tags and two categories etc. – in order to find content more easily. Thank you!

Hello again, let me clarify my post: let’s say I look for a word or brief phrase and like to find info under either several tag and perhaps even in several categories. I hope I made my question a bit clearer.
