  What do they mean by no ads?
  Does it mean that it will remove the slogan under your title of the site?
  And will it also remove the bottom too?

  And isn’t $30 from removing ads a bit to much?

  I’m trying to understand what you mean. Are you referring to removing Google Ads from your WordPress.COM blog? That costs 30$ a year. Too much? Depends on how badly you want WordPress.COM not to show Google Ads on your blog.

  On WordPress.COM you cannot pay to remove the “Blog at WordPress.com” from your template’s footer (at the bottom of the page). It’s hard coded into the template.

  The “slogan” is your blog’s “tagline” and you can choose to show it or not.
