Customize Theme – menu buttons

  Hi,

  My blog (alottabiota.wordpress.com) uses the theme Twenty Eleven. It has the main page where my blog posts appear chronologically. I want to create separate menu links (beside Contact, About, etc) where different authors can add their blog posts. So you would click on ‘Simon’, and see all the posts written by him. Is that possible, within this theme?

  Hi Theresa –

  If each author used a unique category, you could then link that category in the menu, listing all of the corresponding posts.

  That said, we can’t stop these posts from appearing on the assigned post page. This is independent of which theme you use.

  Another option would be to link all, or the most recent posts under the author’s name in a text widget.

  Thanks for your reply and suggestions. I think for my purposes, the unique Category keyword might be the best solution. I appreciate your thoughts!
