Customize Welcome page on Independent Publisher 2

  Hi,
  I am unable to customize header image on the home/welcome page of Independent Publisher 2 theme. Please guide me.

  Hi,

  In order to customize the header image, please follow the steps below:

  1. Go to my sites -> click Customize
  2. Go to Header Image section
  3. Click Add New and you’ll be able to choose images from your blog’s media library or upload an image from your computer.
  4. Once you’ve chosen an image, you can crop it to your liking, or you may skip this step if the size of the image fits your theme’s dimensions.
  5. Click Save button at the bottom right to apply changes. The image should appear immediately

  Thanks Pooja for your quick reply. I have tried this. It works for all pages except “Welcome” page and “Contact” page.

  I am using the “Personal” plan. Does that affect the ability to change the header image?

  Hi,

  You can try by adding a featured image to the pages you need a header by going through the below steps:

  1. Open the editor of the post or page where you want to display a unique custom header image
  2. Locate the Featured Image module on the right and Click Set Featured Image.
  3. You will see an uploading screen identical to that used when inserting an image into a blog post. Follow the on-screen prompts to choose the image from your computer and upload it or choose it from one of the images already in your Media Library.
  4. Click on the one you want to use as a featured image. It will then appear outlined in blue with a checkmark.
  5. Click the button Set Featured Image at the bottom right
  6. Finally, click Update on your post/page to save your changes.
