customized header cropper = not working

    Hi WordPressers,

    I have a site I’d like to launch today, but I’m unable to upload and crop an image I’ve customized for the header. It has worked before, and only recently has given me trouble. After I upload a (small file-sized) image, the cropper page comes up–but no image appears to crop. I tried to circumvent this step by cropping the image myself in my iPhoto according to the pixel guidelines (690 x 115), but alas, it didn’t work.

    Will you instruct me as to how to fix this? Thank you for your consideration,

    This doesn’t always work, but sometimes it does: make the image 1 or 2 px smaller than specified. So patsykaye, try 689 x 114.

    What KIND of file is it? You’ll get that if it’s not a supported format, like a bitmap or something.
