Customizing and upgradong

    Hi

    I can do very little on the free version of WordPress to customize my site. I am familiar with CSS and would be happy to use but that means I need to upgrade for a massive £84 per year (without a pay monthly option, trial or anything like that).

    If I upgrade, am I allowed to customize more than 1 site for the £84? Or will the fee only be for one site?

    Personally I think that tweaking CSS isn’t quite as necessary as it once was now that available themes have improved so much. I’m afraid the massive £84 will only give you a Premium plan for the one site. Perhaps you could find a cheaper option by running the WordPress.org software at another host? Some offer multi-site plans but I don’t know what those costs would be.
    PS: The WordPress.com Premium plan does offer a 30 day refund window (48 hours regarding a domain refund).
