Customizing “blog” page
-
I paid to have WordPress design my site and I wasn’t happy with it. In order to make it customizable I had to recreate all my pages using a new editable theme. I have gotten incredible support from Fernando of Customer Support, now I8m getting useless support from Marie.
I have a travel agency site. I have a dozen different lists of travel tips and hacks. I found the only way to post these was to create a blog page. None of the blog block options work how I want.
I want to have a sidebar (2 columns) and on the left I want the Catagories, then under each Category, the title of the posts under that category. So,
Planning
- Before your trip
- Before your flight
Packing
- packing for flights
- packing with kids
Right now I can only do the categories and when I click on a category, it opens all the posts in a new page. I want to click on the post title and have it open in the right column. I know how to do this with basic html, but I found WordPress blocks don’t always work well with basic html.
Any advise on how to do this?
Also, Fernando was going to walk me through creating a separate mobile header but Maria has been responding with “you need to upgrade your plan and get a developer to help you”. Why have I already spent almost $1000 and still need to upgrade?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)
