Customizing Columns theme

  Want to use Columns theme but instead of the black band across the top I’d like to create my own heading.

  If you’d like to have an image header than I’d suggest picking a theme with that built in functionality. All of our themes can be found in the showcase at https://wordpress.com/themes/ and from that page you can search by features and layout styles, etc..
