Customizing does not work

Hi. What was the point exactly of me paying $30 to get customization? I have been trying to customize the fonts on my site, and nothing works (Not a single font works. When I am on the customization page and choose a font, it looks ok – but as soon as I “save” and then get back to my site, the font I had chosen has disappeared and has been replaced by a very big font that messes up my site completely). At the end of the day I have no choice but to revert to the “standard font” (which I would get if I was not paying for customization). So again, why am I paying for customization that I cannot use?

I see that you have updated the body font on your site, and it appears to be working correctly. Were you able to figure this out on your own, or are you still having trouble?
If you are still having trouble, let me know which font you are trying to use in which place (headings or body) and I’ll be happy to help you get this working the way you want it to.

Thank you for your answer. I should have been more precise. I have no problem with the body text. But the “header” font does not work at all. Again, everything looks okay when I change the font, but as soon as I “save” it and then return to my site to see the results, everything has been changed: not only don’t I have the header font I had chosen, but I end up with a very large header font that messes up my site.

I haven’t been able to replicate this on my test site. Could you tell me which font you’d prefer for your headings? Let’s see if I can get the change to “stick”.

What I wanted was “League Gothic” (8 in size).
I was able to make this change for you. Let me know if it looks the way you want it to.
How come I have no image as an avatar next to my name in here?
It looks like your Gravatar was accidentally assigned a PG raiting. If you go to your Gravatar account (linked below) and click on the image you want to use, you will be able to change the rating back to G.

Many thanks for your help with the header font. Worst part of it, I am now thinking of changing the name of the blog. Which brings me to a question: When I change the name, will I be able to automatically change the address (from www.frontalnews.wordpress.com to www.newname.wordpress.com)? Thanks for your reply.

You can change the address of your site when you change your name, but it’s not automatic. The article linked below discusses your options.
