Customizing Font Color

    I purchased the Customization package but it apparently doesn’t allow me to do the one thing I wanted to be able to change. I can change link and header color, but can’t change the font color. Paid $30 for not many options it appears.

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    It means I am stuck with the dull grey colored body text in posts and on pages and cannot change the color of the font. I can change the font type and the size but not the color.

    Maybe your best bet is posting to the premium themes support forum. Bold News is a premium theme and you paid for support direct from the theme designer. You have also edited the CSS and that could be a factor. Read-access to the premium themes forum is now open to all users so you can search to see if your question has been previously asked and answered there. The premium theme forums are at http://premium-themes.forums.wordpress.com/ with separate sections for each theme. http://premium-themes.forums.wordpress.com/forum/bold-news

    If you are not successful when searching there is a link for the specific Premium Theme support forum for your theme under Appearance -> Themes in your blog’s Dashboard, but do note that the premium theme must be active and you must be signed in as the user who purchased it in order to see it and post to it.

    You can change the font color, but you need to use CSS to change something very specific like that that’s not in the main tool.

    Here is an example to get you started:

    .entry p {
        color: blue;
    }

    You can enter it in your Appearance → Themes → Customize → CSS panel.

    You should update the color to a color code of your choice. Note that the example just affects paragraphs inside posts. If you wanted to change different types of font colors, either experiment a bit with the selectors or post back here with more specific info about which font colors you’re trying to change.
