Customizing free Plane theme

Hi, I am new to WordPress and trying to get this started. I’ve chosen the Plane theme, and am trying to customize the colors using the one palette that shows up. There’s a grey, a dark red, a black, and a sea foam green on the palette. Is it even possible to select the sea foam green? The large colored dot shows a royal blue, and my page header is grey and black, though I did do something last night that changed it to a light blue for a bit, but that changed back to grey/black scheme while I was trying to get sea foam.
Also, I haven’t been able to preview any changes, in that screen it’s just a circle forever indicating loading, so I save every change and then look at my page in another window. This is the case on both my phone and laptop.
Please help, sorry for the lengthy post!
