customizing header

  I’m starting a new blog and would like some help with the design…! I picked a theme I like but want to make a minor change.

  the title and subtitle of the page at the top, I’d like an image to go in the background. The default theme puts the title at the top and the header image below, I want the title to be in the header image, if that makes sense…

  How would I do it? thank you…

  Go to appearance > header, choose to “hide text” and then put the text you want into the header image itself.

  Either that or buy the Custom Design Upgrade and use CSS to move the title and tagline down over the header image.
