Customizing header image

  I am trying to customize the header image for my blog, but it is not allowing me to change the picture. It says that I have selected and saved my custom picture, yet it has kept the original picture after many tries. Any thoughts or advice on what the problem is and how to fix this? (Even changing the whole them of my blog does not allow me to change the header image.)

  Hi there,

  If you’ve assigned a Featured Image to your Page, it will replace the Custom Header. If a Featured Image is not assigned to the Page, your Custom Header will be displayed as long as you’ve set it to a Static Front Page.

  It looks like you have a default Featured Image that was already in place when you created your site. Please see the Removing a Featured Image section of the Featured Images support document for detailed instructions.
