Customizing Header in Digg #

I’ve literally spent hours trying to fix this. I’ve got a header I like, but under the header is a gray part that doesn’t go. I can’t figure out how to change the color or get rid of it all together. It’s the part where the rss feeds and search box is.

That grey section is part of the overall header rounded-corner background image and it is declared in the underlying theme files, not in the CSS. You can hide it by doing “display:none;” in #header-overlay or you can create your own rounded-corner background image and then declare a background in #header-overlay to override the original.
