Customizing Libre 2's page template
-
I really like Libre 2’s Right Content, No Sidebar page template but I’d like to customize it so that it matches my need. I’m thinking of making a bunch of pages, each with a short description in paragraphs and an image.
How do I make it so that the content is below the title and the image is the only thing on the right side? Basically it’s a 2-column page, but the texts are on the left and the image is on the right. Any help or pointer will be very much appreciated.

Hi there,
I’m sorry to hear you’re having trouble! It can be quite difficult to customise a right content theme into a 2-column page, since it goes against the theme itself.
If you have a Premium plan, you could try adding custom CSS into your site. You can read more about adding custom CSS here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/custom-design/editing-css/
Otherwise, I suggest picking a theme that has a 2-column design. You can find some of those here: https://wordpress.com/themes/filter/two-columns

Hi there,
That sounds really frustrating! Are you able to hit the Find command to highlight only your replies? On a Mac, you would do this with Command+F. Then you’ll be able to put your username in the search box.
In the meantime, this forum post has been tagged for a Happiness Engineer to look at. Thanks for your patience!

Hi there,
Sorry for the mess here! I posted under the wrong account.
Here is what I want to say:

Hi littlethinks,
How do I make it so that the content is below the title and the image is the only thing on the right side?
The Right Content, No Sidebar page template on Libre 2 is designed to only display a title on the left.
CSS can be used to make visual changes (colours and spacing) but it won’t be possible to us it to change the layout of the page template itself — this is coded into the theme.
I think @koulovat’s suggestion of using a theme with more layout options would be the best way forward. You can browse what is available on our Theme Showcase:
Each theme has a demo site to give you a feel for how it can be used :)

Hello, thank you for all the replies. So it seems that there is no other choice but to use other theme, right?
I thought it can be done using CSS, but it seems like that’s not the case.

Hi littlethinks,
Yes, using a different theme would be your best bet. CSS can help you change many aspects on your site’s design but it has limits for adjusting the layout of a post or page.
If you find another theme you like and have any customisation questions, you’re welcome to post here!
