Customizing my website

  Hello,
  I am trying to build a blog and host it with wordpress. I want to customize my Title with different fonts, backgrounds etc. I am basically looking to customize everything. How do I go about doing it ? If I select a Theme it is high restrictive and does not let me customize.

  Do you happen to have any sites (does not have to be WordPress) that you are drawing inspiration from or trying to emulate? WordPress.com sites are customizable, but it will help if we can see an example of the kind of site you are trying to create so we can point you in the right direction.
