Customizing Sela Theme

    Please help – I’m trying to customize Sela and several things are going wrong:

    1. The homepage doesn’t look like the homepage in the theme.
    2. I tried to follow the instructions in the theme’s page to make sure the homepage looks like the theme but the instructions don’t match up with the options I’m presented with.
    3. I try to add a hero image on the home page but it only allows to add a header image that goes right under the logo, which I don’t want. I want it under the nav bar, like in the template.
    4. I’m trying to customize the color of the nav bar but it won’t let me. It’s only letting me customize the color of the background.

    Any help is appreciated.

    Here is your theme documentation. Follow it to make your site look like demo.

    
2. I tried to follow the instructions in the theme’s page to make sure the homepage looks like the theme but the instructions don’t match up with the options I’m presented with.

    You need to add a featured image to your Homepage. That featured image will appear below the nav bar and make it look like the demo. Header image is different.

    Also, make sure to set the page template of your “Home “page” to “Front Page” template.

    4. I’m trying to customize the color of the nav bar but it won’t let me. It’s only letting me customize the color of the background.
    The theme just allows customising the background color.
    If you are on a premium plan and have access to Custom CSS, you can add the following CSS to change the nav bar color

    .main-navigation {
    background-color: #f25f70;
}
