Customizing share message when publishing
-
Ever since the new editor platform was imposed on me, I’ve had a problem with the ‘customize your [Twitter] message’ portion of the ‘Publish’ tab. I can make that message to reflect anything I want to say, but once I hit ‘Publish’, the message reverts to the title of my post. The only around it for me is to schedule a publishing time for the post, but I don’t want to do that forever.

Hello there,
Many thanks for reaching out.
This actually is a known issue we’re working on fixing and has only really come to light recently.
What is happening here is that Publicize is not pushing out customized messages unless they’ve been saved first.
A work around we’re recommending is to create the custom message as described here: https://wordpress.com/support/publicize/#customize-your-message , and then click save draft in the post, before hitting publish.
I hope this helps.
