Customizing shop – add text below shop image
-
Hi,
I’m trying to add some text below product images to give attribution to the photographer of the images but trying to figure out how to put them properly in the code part.
I wanted the text to show only in category view and not when I click on to view the individual items inside the categories. (Site is here for reference)
I’m using the ecwid shopping cart and it has the following code pasted into WordPress page content:

This store is powered by Ecwid - E-Commerce Shopping Cart. If your browser does not support JavaScript, please proceed to its simple HTML version.

[ecwid_minicart] [ecwid_searchbox] [ecwid_categories] [ecwid_productbrowser] I’ve tried to put the text after that block of code and what happens is that it displays on the page itself and not part of the shopping cart, so that when I click on items from the shopping cart part, the text remains on the screen as part of the page…
I was wondering if anyone who has good understanding of code could help please? Thanks in advance!

This site http://www.littlemisstea.com.au/store/ is not hosted by WordPress.COM and you cannot get support for it here.
We provide support only for blogs being hosted WordPress.COM and not for WordPress.ORG software installs. You are posting to the wrong support forum.
WordPress.com and WordPress.org are completely separate and different http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
If you don’t have a username account at WordPress.ORG click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right hand corner of the page that opens, so you can post to the support forums there and receive advice from WordPress.ORG bloggers.

I’m sorry, so that means as long as there’s a plugin installed, even if I’m on the wordpress servers, it’s under the .org side…?

If you can install plugins, then you’re certainly not using a WordPress.com service (because plugins are not allowed here). That means you are using a self-hosted version of WordPress (not hosted here at WordPress.com).

You’re welcome, sorry we couldn’t help further here (but the WordPress.org support folks will, I’m sure!).
