Customizing site

I am trying to use the Russell theme and customize it however its not letting me attach the theme and customize it. I’m very new to wordpress/bluehost and I’m not sure what to do. Than you!

Are you trying to activate Russell via Appearance ->Themes here in your WordPress.com account?
You’re able to manage your Bluehost site via your WordPress.com account, because the site is connected here through the Jetpack plugin. But the Jetpack connection for your site appears to be broken at the moment, so nothing you try on our end will work correctly:
This could be because your site is still in Coming Soon mode at Bluehost, making it inaccessible to Jetpack, but you’d need to check with Bluehost support directly if that mode can block Jetpack in this way.
Meanwhile, you can also install the theme manually.
Go to the theme showcase page at https://wordpress.com/theme/russell
At the bottom you’ll see two download buttons to download Blockbase and Russell respectively. Download both.
Then log into WP-Admin on your site and go to Appearance ->Themes. At the top, click the Add New button, and then the Upload Theme button on the next screen.
Click the Browse button and upload and install first the .zip folder for Blockbase, and then the .zip folder for Russell. Once both are installed, activate Russell and you should be good to go.
